Job Description
Job Purpose:
Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating,
and closing business relationships, deals with identifying and
qualifying business sales opportunities.
Provides consultation services
and information to clients who want to buy IT products and services and
advises them on the best option based on their needs also develops good
business relationships with clients.
Analyzes and explores business and
market trends and stays updated about new technological developments
taking place in the industry. Should have both effective leadership and
good customer service skills.
Needs to be technologically savvy enough
to understand and explain technological concepts to clients and even
carry out demos.
Should be self-motivated, self-driven and able to work
independently also needs good interpersonal skills in order to handle
suppliers and customers professionally.
Ability at communications and
making good presentations in both written and verbal form is a plus.
Should also be able to seek out and find business opportunities.
Duties:
• Identifies trend setter ideas by researching industry and related
events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual
contributors and their accomplishments.
• Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
• Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal
requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving
internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
• Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration
of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks
and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
• Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and
negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business
operations.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities;
reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks;
participating in professional organizations.
